*Mon. 7/20 - Sun. 7/26

7/20 Kari and Emma sick with cough

7/21 Isaac fever and cough he and Kari stayed home. It was silly hat day. Lexi wore the hat Isaac came up with. It was the best hat she said! She made a get better soon Isaac card and had everyone sign it at school  :) It was super sweet!

7/22  I don't feel really great today. I'm not sick or anything. Just emotionally I guess. We woke up super late which is becoming the story everyday.
I NEED to becoming a morning person I just REALLY don't want to....
I was hoping to exercise more but I'm just not making it a priority I guess since it doesn't happen.

My father-in-law says "show me how a man uses his time and I'll show you what's important to that man"  --what's important to me?

My 30th birthday is in 28 days!! THIRTY! That always seemed so far away but now it's here looking me in the face! I want to do better in these 28 days and use it as a deadline to become a morning person and create some better habits for my life. I'm hoping by writing this down it may help me to actually DO better!!! I want to cut back on junk food and exercise AT LEAST 3 times a week read scriptures DAILY (I know I should already have this habit but I admit I struggle...) These are all thing I have wanted to do. If I don't do them NOW when will I????

Emma was "helping" me with laundry. Earlier I hung all those wet socks...

*Mon. 7/13 - Sun. 7/19

Monday woke up late skipped school hard rain...
Hope Chinese food for dinner and Swirls for dessert

Emma is absolutely adorable!!! She has started nodding her head very emphatically. She has also started growling. It's hilarious! She LOVES to dance. If you start singing she'll start moving. She's a smarty always putting lids on things and figuring out how to get what she wants. She is communicating very well.

My sweet sleeping Kari princess!!

Tuesday field trip to D-Smart Farm/ Emerald Pool

Lexi and Isaac organized a line of children and had them take turns on the swing.

Friday Mini #3 of second semester!  We're outta here! Mini- vaca to Rosalie Bay!! SUPER EXCITED!

Best Weekend EVER!!! We had a fabulous time at Rosalie Bay!!!!! I'm not even sure I'll remember all the great things I wanted to say about our night's stay --- we got there set up the kids up with tv you could look out the window and see the pool and poolside restaurant,  went to have dinner (downside NOT very tasty and pretty spendy)  ordered food then little walk out near the water.  The Atlantic ocean is very different from the Caribbean Sea. Before moving here I had no idea there was a difference between "sea" and "ocean". I thought it was like "dollar" and "buck", "pop" and "soda"... sturdy toilet seat, water pressure in the clean shower, sand free sheets ( I LOVE CLEAN SHEETS), king size bed, fluffy towels!! I hugged them!!! (I'm not even kidding. They were super soft!)

Yummy breakfast, fun time in the pool twice

Emerald Pool - gopro in the water fall ,  very cold

Lexi has been dying to buy a souvenir. So I finally switched some of her US money to EC

Mark took a group picture for some locals that were there having a get-together. Afterwards, they asked us if we wanted something to drink. We all ended up with a bottle of pop. The kids all had Busta. Orange, grape and banana flavors and Mark got a Malt drink (which is disgusting if you ask me) They gave the kids a small bag of chips and some chicken...  They were so kind!!

The bed deserves another mention because we woke up with out our backs hurting!! I didn't have to stretch and hear everything pop back into place. Crazy!

Downside - car breaks, glass broke at breakfast, screaming baby in the car, AC not working properly in 2nd vehicle... That's life! The upsides way out numbered the bad on this trip!

Two sleeping daughters on me.
