Mon. 8/10 - Sun 8/16

Tuesday I tried to flood the apartment AGAIN!!! by forgetting I left the hose running in the washing machine. It was even worse this time!!

Mark had mini #4 then Thursday was his 1st Clinical test thingy... I don't know exactly but we're nearing the end of the semester!!

These things are interesting to eat. They are called gnips or knips or something??? You bite it to break it open then pop the inside into your mouth and suck on it and scrape at it with your teeth then spit out what's left.

I washed the kid's pillow cases from their Grandma Rashae' hug pillows and thought they looked nice hanging out to dry.

Star fruit Lexi picked off a tree on campus.

Emma hit her 15 month mark last week. She "says", hi, Dad, Mom, Dog, Jesus, that, this...  She loves to snap buckles. She is OCD about lids being on whatever they belong on. She loves to run circles around things. Emma also apparently enjoys doing dishes. I found she had pushed a chair up to the sink and was scrubbing away. What a helpful little lady!

Hurricane Danny is heading our way. I'm guessing that has something to do with this scooper truck being in the river???

Friday at the prep school the kids had presentations. Lexi sang a Bruno Mars song Count On Me with a few other girls. She practiced and practiced to memorize all the words.

Emma's first falling ouchie that needed a bandaid.

Kari can plank like a champ! Even when random items are places all over her!!! Skills!

Sunday morning Emma woke up at 1 am wide awake. She wandered through the house a bit in the dark. She seemed to think it was morning. It didn't take too long and I got her back to sleep. She woke up at a more normal hour and was so cranky. She was crying, screaming, refusing food and wanted to be held. She eventually decided to sleep and went down for an early nap! Sometimes it's just tough being little.

At church there was a talk that was about the temple. I wish I could go. If you live near the temple and are able to go then GO! It does take time and is a hassle to work out someone to watch children but it is worth it.
